The Super Falcons of Nigeria has climbed eight places to occupy the 32nd position in the latest FIFA Women’s world ranking.
The Super Falcons’ rise can be attributed to their impressive performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where they reached the Round of 16.
In Africa, Nigeria remain the number one team, followed by South Africa, Cameroon, Morocco and Ghana.

In the World Rankings, Sweden climbs to number 1 position, followed by World Cup Champions Spain in second, and 4-time World Champions the USA in 3rd.
European Champions and World Cup runners-up England are in 4th position, while France are 5th.
Completing the top 10 are Germany, Netherlands, Japan, Brazil and Olympic Champions Canada.
